First Lady Dr. Margaree Robinson
Evangelist Margaree Robinson is a resident of Springfield, Massachusetts and was born in Midway, Florida. She is the daughter of the late Elder Zed Ephraim and Mother Margaree Brown. She began her formative education in Florida. She later moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she finished high school. She accepted Christ at an early age while living in Florida and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost while attending True Vine C.O.G.I.C. in Philadelphia, PA.
Evangelist Robinson is a graduate of Springfield Technical Community College with an associate degree in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Science from American International College. She is a graduate of the Springfield Leadership Institute. She is also a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (CUME) Division with a Master of Arts in Urban Ministry. Also, she graduated and received her Doctor of Ministry from Newburgh Theological Seminary.
Over the years, Lady Margaree has participated in many departments of the church; i.e. Sunday School teacher, Sunday School secretary, Y.P.W.W. President, State Y.P.W.W. Secretary, Member of the Usher Board, Member of the Choir, and Member of the Pastor Aid club. She has worked in almost every auxiliary in the Church. Missionary Robinson was the State Evangelist Elect Lady of the former Western Massachusetts Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.
Evangelist Robinson is an anointed inspirational and motivational speaker. As a Proclaimer of Gods Word, she speaks on First Ladies’ days, at banquets, and on other occasions. As President of Transforming Ministries, she conducts workshops, revivals, and shut-in retreats. She is the coordinator of the Intercessory prayer ministries at the Macedonia and First Church of God in Christ. She is currently the President of the Young Women Christian Council of Macedonia C.O.G.I.C., the President of the Women of Purpose Initiative, and President of the Young Women Christian Council/Christian Women Council of First C.O.G.I.C. She is also the advisor to the Prayer and Bible Band of First C.O.G.I.C.
Among her community and civic involvements Lady Robinson served as the President of Children’s Study Home and Springfield Day Nursery (currently Square One) respectively; as well as the Treasurer of the Pioneer Valley Girl Scouts of America in Springfield, MA.
Evangelist Margaree Robinson is the wife of Bishop Bryant Robinson, Jr., Bishop of the Greater Massachusetts Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and Pastor of First Church of God in Christ in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and Macedonia C.O.G.I.C. in Springfield, Massachusetts. She was a charter member of the Evangelist team that gave birth to First Church, Fitchburg, MA.
Bishop and Evangelist Robinson were married October 1961. To this union were added three children and nine grandchildren. She is a devoted wife, a caring mother, lover of God’s people, and an anointed woman of God. She is currently the owner of Margie’s Wedding and Dress Shop in Springfield, Massachusetts. Prior to opening her own business, she worked as the Controller of the Urban League of Springfield, Inc.
